hello all- i was wandering if anyone is taking sulbutiaming (or has took it) as a nootropic? if so have you also taken hydergine? if yes again, then how did they compare? if no, then could you please tell me of your experiences with sulbutiamine. thanks

I love sulbutiamine. Im on 800 mgs of piracetam now and only 200 mgs of sulbutiamine and I'm extremely focused and clear-headed at work (200 mg is a very low dose, I guess I am sensitive to its effects more than others ) ;-) In my experience sulbutiamine affects me slightly more than piracetam. If I were to describe it, it makes me more "up", just a pleasant, steady energy.

Supplementing it together with piracetam, makes me feel the extra motivation to finish tedious tasks at work (such as correcting papers and essays without stopping a beat, editing chapters, etc.) and I surprise myself by finishing everything in record time without getting distracted.

When I take only either piracetam or sulbutiamine, I feel the same effects, only to a much lesser degree. (but like I stated earlier, sulbutiamine slightly more than pircetam) ;)

cool! i found a website selling it fairly priced, and it said "like hydergine, but better". and hydergine sounded pretty amazing. so i thought i might give it a try.

^Hello!! :D Merging with existing sulbutiamine thread.
To be honest caizar, I never thought to use sulbutiamine for appetite suppressing purposes, nor have I ever read that it in fact does have that effect at all.

Although its clinical efficacy is uncertain,Sulbutiamine is the only compound used to treat asthenia that is known to selectively target the areas that are involved in the condition.[4] In addition to its use as a treatment for chronic fatigue, sulbutiamine also appears to improve memory and erectile dysfunction. At therapeutic dosages, it has few reported adverse effects, though it may interfere with the therapeutic outcome of bipolar disorder.[5] It is available for over-the-counter sale as a nutritional supplement.

Hello. Hello. I know the thread is old, but to not disperse the subject here it goes.

Does anyone know if sulbutiamine has any immediate positive effect? Or just in a long term?

It is said in the literature that the amount of dopamine decreases on sulbutiamine. If so, is it legitimate to say that in the short term sulbutiamine has a demotivating effect?

Thank you.
